PuzzleLex 6, developed byN Bentley, is a Crossword Solver software that helps all lovers of crosswords and puzzles solve their gaming problems and difficulties. And the best thing is that now it is totally free of charge what makes it even more attractive. PuzzleLex 6 works in a very easy way: the software comprises lexicons of more than 280,000 words and, making use of a useful search mechanism, it helps crossword lovers to sort out the difficulties they may encounter during their game. Moreover, PuzzleLex 6 comprises a crossword grid so you can work on your crosswords within the program. What is more, it contains a data base of more than 100,000 words with their definitions, synonyms, antonyms, among many other word resources. The software interface is very easy to use: you will have a main window where you will see your crossword displayed; then you have special pop ups where you can search and find words and definitions; and finally there are secondary windows to select the Lexicons you are interested in using while searching for a specific word. PuzzleLex 6 requires at least Windows 95 or any later version to run smoothly, and its downloadable file size is 10Mb.

I downloaded Pullex5 back in 2005. My computer crashed last year, and I lost PuzzLex6 and am trying to reload, but am having problems.
My operating system is Windows 7. Help.
Thanks.

I have used a registered version of PuzzleLex for probably 20 years, still using it today and find it brilliant. I have now moved up to a Mac computer so please Mr Bentley could you perhaps arrange a Mac version. PuzzleLex is too good to mothball.
